1: What's this about?

Ultimately, Roots in the Wilderness came out of a seen need in the outdoor community of Western Canada. While planning for a trip last year I began searching for a podcast that would walk me through details such as suggested routes, what to bring, and general information about the trip. After coming up unsuccessful I decided to take matters into my own hands, and behold, the idea of Roots in the Wilderness was born. Episode 1 walks you through how and why I decided to start Roots in the Wilderness and also why you should stay tuned to future podcasts.
